Restore volume and re-shape the lips with hyaluronic acid
Dermal lip fillers consist of hyaluronic acid and can be injected in and around the lips to restore volume and re-shape the lips. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, making hyaluronic acid fillers a fantastic non-surgical option to replace volume, hydrate and give back definition to our lips. They can also help balance the proportion between the upper and lower lip, as well as correct any asymmetry.

- For 48 hours, avoid exposure to UV light and heat i.e. sauna, steam, sun beds, hot showers, strenuous exercise etc, as this may increase discomfort and swelling.
- Keep the area cool with a cold compress, but don’t apply ice, which can cause injury.
- Avoid facial massages or skin resurfacing until the area has healed fully.
- Avoid unnecessary pressure on the treated areas especially for the first 24 hours.
- Results are seen immediately but you will experience some initial mild tenderness, swelling and bruising and this can take up to 2 weeks to settle down. This is why we always recommend planning your treatment in advance of any big events. It is important to note that in order to achieve the look you desire, more than one session may be required. For instance, if you naturally have a very thin upper lip, it may take a couple of sessions to achieve a fuller yet natural look.
